    wpid-Heart-of-Midlothian-vs-Celtic.jpg
Hearts midfielder Ian Black is suspended, while goalkeeper Marian Kello is being overlooked after his refusal to accept a transfer.

Winger David Templeton misses out with a groin injury but left-back Danny Grainger is close to a return.

Striker Pawel Brozek could make his Celtic debut, having joined on loan for the rest of the season.

Mikael Lustig remains on the sidelines with a hip injury and there is no place for fellow new signing Rabiu Ibrahim.
Definitely one of the toughest remaining games of the season, I'm going for a 1-2 win for Celtic, assuming Forster maintains his recent form.
#Celtic XI: Forster; Matthews, Rogne, K Wilson, Mulgrew; Forrest, Brown, Wanyama, Ledley; Samaras & Hooper (TH)

#Celtic subs: Zaluska, Brozek, Cha, Majstorovic, Ki, Commons & Stokes (TH)

Anyway that they can both get beat?;)

No stokes again, probably a good choice for this game.

This could be a physical game and Sammy has more presence (when on form) than Stokes

In fairness, I'd be bulling if I were a Hearts fan. Video technology for that one. Sure off a corner, there's players standing at the posts, how are the linesmen supposed to even see?

Just to rub it in of course, it would be Broony! :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,706 ✭✭✭premierstone

Forster is gettin fair good at saving them goals :D:D Take anything we can get, god knows we've been fcuked over enough in the past!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,340 ✭✭✭TheBuilder

If the linesman can't see it, why hasn't Collum gave handball against Ledley (I think it is) on the post? his hand stops it going over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,462 ✭✭✭RoryMac

We got lucky there, great finish by Brown at the other end.

A game on sky that might actually live up to the hype

I'll take any lucky breaks we get now, more times often than not have we been the victims of bad decisions.

Another great finish, if we keep our concentration this could be a rout

The fans making it sound like our home ground as per usual. Just brilliant they are.

    Oooft, that was close!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,375 ✭✭✭henke

Lucky to be 2-0 up so early but will certainly take it. This looked like a potentially tough game on paper but from here should be three points. Fans brilliant yet again.

Have the Hearts players found out they are not getting paid this month either?

This is too easy, even Hibs would win this;)

Jaysu, Hearts are a shambles. 0-3, Ledley.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,220 ✭✭✭the realpigiron

    3 and easy.

I was nervous enough about this game before tonight's kick off but this is all too easy thankfully! Great work by Samaras in making the goal for Ledley.

Hearts are woeful anyway, they were never winning this.

Must be those infiltrations in the Celtic end ;)

Hearts are absolutely woeful, I know they're missing some players but hell: I even think we could go and win there :p

Lennon equals O'Neill's winning run tonight doesn't he? Impressive.

Mightn't have time for that, too busy singing songs about your lot's demise. What's that coming over the hill...is it the taxman...........The huns are going bust.........Doing the Congo while Rangers die................

Yes indeedy, hours of entertainment at the expense of the Rangers:D

Very impressive when you consider how bad we were earlier in the season.

    Doesn't surprise me.
    They were sung.

edit: Isn't O'Neill's record something like 23 games in 1 season ? Doubt you've reached that already ;)

0-3 at HT, Hearts are awful, but Celtic just clinical - playing really well at the moment. Thought Hearts would be a much bigger challenge though. Think we'd still be well up even if that first one was allowed.

Why is Skacel on the bench anyone know? He has to be a better option than what's out there at the moment.

While no doubt Celtic were lucky at the start not to concede a goal they have been dominant throughout the 1st half and easily deserve their 3-0 lead at half time. Well overdue against that shower!

Romanov is nuts, he's definitely interfering again, Kello was dropped because he refused to move in the window.

    Ooh ahh Samaras. ;)

And what's the problem with ROH? You should make a complaint if you have a problem with it, 'cause seemingly nobody else gives a f**k.

    when?
    post videos.

I didn't hear anything you (or me) would consider wrong...

just to be clear chanting IRA is 100% wrong

    Haha nice try ;)

ROH was outlined as one of the offensive songs, thats the only point I'm making. I've said plenty of times before I couldn't give a **** what people sing at a football match, its fairness I want.

Romanov is definitely nuts. I can't understand why you would punish your own club by not playing better players like Kello in an important match.

What club were in for Kello anyway? I know there was talk of Celtic, but who made the definite offer?

No idea who was in for him mate, he's a great shot stopper as well. Hearts will be lucky to out live Rangers at this rate.

Was it? I'd not paid much attention to the sectarian singing thing recently, is there a definitive list somewhere?

2nd half, here we go. Another couple of goals please Celtic.
