    Hi fitties,
Need to loose alot of weight!
    23yr old female , 5ft 11,

    Starting weight - 16st 7

Started healthy eating about three or four weeks  ago and now I'm 15st 4! Want to hit the gym but I don't know what t do there. Don't want to ask any of the pts for a workout just yet. Can anyone give me advice on what to do? Not fit at all , my goal is to be able to jog 5 k with out stopping. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Congrats on the weight loss so far, that's brilliant progress!

I'd highly recommend starting off with Couch to 5k - it's literally what it says it is and will get you from nothing to running 5k in 8 weeks, starting you off easy with stints of 60 seconds at a time. And it really works :)

When I did it I found the first few weeks were best done on the treadmill where you can easily time the walk/jog intervals, so start off with that. Whilst you're doing the programme you can check out the other equipment there and see what everyone else is doing ;)
