Hi, not sure if his is in right section but i'm jus wondering whats best to get into to improve flexibility and strength. I'm in my mid twenties n naturally quite flexible, never took up gymnastics as a kid although was advised to by dance and PE teachers......lil late for that now methinks!! i do 3 bootcamp classes a week but feel i want more flexibility wise, i know yoga's supposed to be good but there are so many types, can anyone suggest anything preferably in North Dublin. Cheers guys

If you want to work on it yourself I'd pick 1-2 random videos from this site http://www.mobilitywod.com/ a day and do them.

If you want a class to improve mobility I'd recommend hot yoga or similar regularly. I only know of studios on the southside

You can implement a flexibility and mobility regime at home, for nothing

    start introducing static stretching http://www.sportsinjuryclinic.net/rehabilitation-exercises/stretching-exercises,
some foam rolling and soft tissue work http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uyBcYI-BBN8
    and some mobility exercises http://www.gaahandball.ie/images/gaahandball/fmp.pdf.

    enjoy

plenty of videos and dvds available for yoga
why pay for something when you can do it for free at home??

To learn the correct technique, get encouragement, fix flaws now before they become habits, be able to talk to people that have experience at yoga, ask questions. Those are the reasons I can think of to pay for a class right now, I'm sure there are lots more.
