Hi guys, moving to Australia in April and looking at the Fitness Australia website I need to register with REPS before I can work, problem is I've been ringing the number on their site for over a week now and no one is answering which is very frustrating. I've tried filling in the online registration section as well but that doesn't seem to work either. I'd be grateful for any help at all.

You do not need to register with any 'REPS' in Ireland to work in Australia.

Well a friend of mine over there who applied for a job was told she would have to register with Fitness Australia, Fitness Australia then told her she would have to register with REPS.

This might sound obvious, but what time fo the day were you ringing at. The time difference is quite large.

You probably can't register is you aren't in the australia, or maybe her qualification was recognaised.

If you have a recognaised qualification there shouldn't be a reason why you can't register with them. It's a requirement for most jobs.

REPS IRELAND based in Dublin is who I was trying to ring. Got through yesterday after a week or so of trying.

i was also told that you had to be registered with them to be able to work in australia. they're very bad for trying to register though.i tried numerous times to register on their website and it would not work for ages.eventually i did get an email off them with an application form and sent that off months ago and still haven't heard anything back.
