    Can I just ask-why does the rain that is good and heavy not show up on Met Eir's Rainfall radar? I have the app on my phone and often just check before doing my 8 km walk, but nearly got badly caught out this morning (I,m on holidays from work!) with heavy rain @9.45am. Thanks.

    No, it's still on the chimney of a bungalow but the wind direction helps

    Hey Ashford isn't tiny, we have one roundabout, 2 petrol stations (one more than Sandyford last time I passed though), 3 pubs, 3 coffee shops, one set of pedestrian lights, 2 estate agents (both still open) etc... Tiny - I don't think so...

    Seriously, picked the name as when I moved to Ashford 10 years ago from your neck of the woods (Leopardstown) I found home, apart from work and 4 trips to Dublin city centre (1 panto, 1 trip to the Dead Zoo, 2 children) I rarely venture out of Wicklow so my Dub friends christened me lost in Ashford.

    Just had a gust of over 30km/h NNE
