    1-0 Zaragoza :D

Real have gone a goal behind in nearly all of their matches lately.
    Bilbao,Malaga,Mallorca,Barcelona and Zaragoza.

Will probably end up 5-1 as usual though.

2-1 now, nice goal from Ronaldo.

Barça: Valdés, Alves, Piqué, Puyol, Abidal, Mascherano, Xavi, Busquets, Cesc, Messi y Adriano

Strange enough lineup from Barca, should be more than enough to beat Villarreal though.

    3-1 Ozil. Game over.

Barca really need to win tonight now.

Barca will hammer Villareal, they really are shocking this year.

It was over before it started to be honest ,Zaragoza were never going to get anything .

Real seem to be able to up their performance at the start of the second half in most of their home matches .
I'd like to see some stats of how many goals they get in the 2nd half at home ,I'd say its at least twice what they get in the first.

They have been ****e, although they've only lost once at home in the league and Barca have been poor away from home in comparison to other seasons.

With that Barca lineup, I'd give Villarreal a slight chance of getting a draw.

Yep it's quite predictable with Real now. They almost always leave a team take the lead or equalise in the first half but run riot in the second half.

I was actually going to add on to my post that the pattern great for betting, but I left it out because I didn't put any money on them this time :(

You can get 8/11 on Barca half time/full time v Villarreal with PP. Barca nearly always score in the first half and they should win this. Not guaranteed but good value imo.

Adriano has been poor so far. Otherwise Barca have been decent.

Barcelona are looking very ropey at the back.
    First goal will be huge.

    First goal will be huge.

They have completely lost their way after the first 20 mins. Villarreal looking the far more threatening side at the moment.

Alves and Adriano aren't wing forwards and Mascherano slows everything down in midfield.

Barcelona badly missing Iniesta, but more of the same so far away from home. No passing rhythm and Abidal with some vital clearances.

    Is Cuenca injured ?
He'd be a much better option that Adriano.

Iniesta is a huge loss and Xavi isnt getting forward much .

their biggest challange seems to be getting themselves up for these kind of games . . Thump Man United - No Problem - Beat Madrid - piece of piss - Get yourself up for a game with a team thats low on confidence - Hmmmm . .

Complacency/motivation could be their biggest enemy this season . .

Barca are now 3/5 at HT . . Hmmm . . 15 mins to decide whether or not they will get their sh*t together for 2nd half . .

The lack of an out and out striker/ frontman is hurting Barcelona in away games this season.

Barça's bench: Pinto, Thiago, Alexis Sanchez, Johnathan Dos Santos, Tello, Sergi Roberto, Isaac Cuenca

One of Cuenca or Sanchez should be starting. Alves ending up at centre forward at the end of that half was a joke.

I'm going to hold off. I might get on them if it's still 0-0 when they (probably) bring on Sanchez. Will get better odds the later I leave it.

Barca will probably score in the first 5 mins now. :pac:

He was poor on Wednesday against Real too.
He needs his amigo Andres to spur him on.

    Here comes Sanchez...

Might throw €20 on Barca to win.

Was just thinking that, 9/10 on betfair . .

Is it 3-5-2 for barca now ?

Barcelona are playing a very dangerous game.
If they dont win tonight ,the league is over .

    Yep.

I'm still waiting to see some sort of sustained intense pressure from Barca before I put money on them. It's hard to see them scoring right now.

I expect them to up it in the next 10 mins.

Hedged now . . At worst will win a euro, if its anything other then a Barca win, €5 . . Small fries, but satisfying none the less, I cant lose! . .

    Up 50% today . .

Just put €20 on Barca to win 1-0 at 21/10 on bet 365.

Good odds as they are only 23/10 now . .

Squeky bum time . . After that crossbar incident you sort of fear for Barca ! !

    Shocking miss by Fabregas.

Fabregas has spent a lot of the game getting in the way, certainly not a 50m player.

He is a good player but he is not a forward or winger.
The team has had to change its shape to accomodate him
Its now a case of too many cooks in the kitchen.

The league could be beyond Barcelona now.
Real have an easy run of fixtures in their next 5 matches whereas Barca have to play Valencia at home and go away to Atletico Madrid.

After that Real have some tough fixtures but their lead may be too big.

After that Real have some tough fixtures but their lead may be too big.

Barca have to go away to Osasuna in the next few weeks too which won't be easy. All the smaller teams playing Barca at their own ground have the confidence to take something from them now. And those two Copa games against Valencia and the CL games will stretch the squad. The World Club Championship was a disaster for them.

It's hard to see past Real for the league, Barca will do very well to pull this out of the bag now.

Real Madrid are just a cog of consistency. A beacon of hope for the football world to overthrow these pirates of the game.

Real Madrid will never be a beacon of anything, this has to be worst post of the day if such a thing exists..

I feared the worst for Barcelona when I saw that team lineup.
No striker in the selection and Mascherano and Adriano shouldnt have started.
Thiago and Sanchez would have given the team alot more balance .
    Very strange by Pep.
