    Stats:
    Weight-70 kg
    Height-5 foot 11
    Waist :30

Here is what I would be hoping my diet to look like

    Breakfast:
    Hurricane XS shake
    Quick oats-90 grams
    Full fat milk-170 mls

    Snack:
Good handful of roasted and salted peanuts

    Lunch:
    Chicken Stir-Fry
    OR
Two chicken breasts in wholegrain bread with mayo
    OR
    4 egg omlette

    Snack:
A good handful of roasted and salted peanuts

    WORKOUT

    PWO:
    Hurricane XS

    Dinner:
    Meat with truckload of veg

    Before Bed:
    Cottage cheese

Is this a good diet to gain lean mass?

Bare in mind I have not purchased or used any supplements before.I am hoping to order the Hurricane XS in the next few days.Anyone used it before,?

    Thanks in advance.

    P.S i train 2-3 times a week.

Right, first off it does'nt look like there isn't enough food in the diet, also i don't think roasted or salted peanuts are good, you should be having almonds or natural peanut butter, having mayo is'nt good either.

Haven't tried Hurricane Xs was considering getting it a while ago, I am currently trying to bulk so im taking kinetica Oat gain.

Here's the diet im currently on:
    Meal 1
    6 Eggs, 5 whites, 1 full
    Instant Oats
    2 x Omega 3 tablets
    1 x MultiVitamin

    Meal 2
    Can of Tuna
    WholeWheat Pasta
    Almonds

    Pre Workout
    Kinetica Oat Gain Shake

    Post Work
    Banana
    Kinetica Oat Gain Shake

    Meal 5
2 Chicken breasts(or steak, turkey breasts)
    Rice
    Green Veg

    Meal 6
    Can of tuna
    Apple
    Peanut Butter

And I still don't think Im eating enough, with your diet it seems like your lacking in a few areas, you need slow release carbs before you train like oats, your meals don't seem to have any rice, pasta which you need to bulk up.

Also i dont think going to the gym two days a week would be enough if you want to do it properly.

    Thanks for the reply.

Could you give me your stats by any chance?

And do you think your BF % has gone up since you have been bulking?

    Thanks

    My Stats:
    Weight: 57kg
    Height: 5 foot 7
    Waist: 26

No don't think its gone up, i find it hard to put on weight but i keep trying, my body fat % would be very low, must try and find it out actually.

Do you think theres enough in that diet you outlined?

Not sure tbh, just beginning to learn about bulking and stuff.I reckon I need to eat around 2900 calories a day to gain weight.

Well my diet plan there has around 2800 calories in it, thats even with the two kinetica oat gain shakes which are 600 calories each, so I don't think yours would be enough, especially because of your weight and height compared to mine, you could enter your food into myfitnesspal.com to see how many calories your taking in a day.

Whats wrong with peanuts? I'm assuming you'll say the salt as you suggest peanut butter.
The salt isn't ideal, but its no going to ruin him. Especially if the rest if ok.

There is nothing wrong with mayo either if its good quality. It's just eggs and oil. Two things that are fine in a bulk diet.

Eat your egg yolk, dumping them is a bit silly if you are bulking.

Seeing as you have an ectomorph body type you are going to struggle to put on any mass unless you go all out on it. I'm forever getting asked this in the gym and its the same old questions and the same old excuses.

Firstly if you want to gain substantial mass, you will have to train every muscle group at least once a week. i.e 4 or 5 days a week, reduce cardio in order to retain size also!

You will never put on 'lean mass' as in order to put on mass at all your calorie intake has to be huge! Therefore you will put on fat along with muscle, hence why people bulk and cut in cycles.

Smaller guys(60-70kg) need to eat like crazy in order to gain weight as they have higher metabolisms. I'd be eating 2 chicken breasts per sitting and upping your protein scoops from one to two every time.

As for multivitamins and such I just use Universal's Animal Pak - dead handy!

Ya was just refering to the amount of salt in them and that almonds, natural peanut butter would be better.
Didn't think mayo would be great either.
Anyway my point was that i don't think hes eating enough with that diet plan.
