I started my first ever pack of pills (Microlite) on the first day of AF in December, which caused it to only last three days. I then quit the pill after two weeks as I had horrific side effects and was in complete agony. I got Aunt Flow on the 25th (lovely christmas present) as expected due to quitting the pill and had a two day one again. I am now 4 or 5 days late for AF and am in the usual crying/weepy stage I get in when I'm due. My breasts have grown as they usually do just before AF and my cervix is high, open and hard.
I am in the early stages of the flu at the moment too which should be gone soon.

Is it normal for AF to be late now?
Could it be because my body is re-adjusting it's hormones and stuff?
Or could it be because my womb hasnt had chance to build up properly from the last AF?

I heard the pill can mess you up for a couple of months and I just wanna know if anyone else has experienced this before.

We can't make any guesses as to what your body is doing or why...if you have any queries then your best bet is to contact your GP.

    All the best.
