I've just found that in conspiracy theory circles:

There's loads written about them in these things called books. Some of which are mass media and some of which aren't. If you decide to buy one be careful, you might be contributing to making it mass media.

Magazines and newspapers are constantly publishing "rich lists".

The Sunday Times do one every year.

Putting aside the accuracy of these rich lists (it's very difficult to tell), how high do any of the Rothschilds rank in any of these published lists?

As far as I'm aware none of them are even in the top ten.

Do you trust Rupert Murdoch to tell you the truth? Do you trust Murdoch to tell you the truth on a family he has close ties to? To tell the truth on a family he appoints to the board on companies he controls? On a family he invests with?

I don't.

Besided these "rich-lists" are estimates based on assets and holding in public companies. Not private companies or actual money in the bank.

Hosni Mubarrak supposedly was worth 70 billion, which would make him number 1 on any rich-list. He was not, as far as I know on any of these lists

It was annoucned on TV3 (Vincent Browns show at night) on Thursday that the "Rothschild's" where the unknown anglo bond holders who we paid over a Billion to during the week. RTE to date still refer to the bond holders as unknown! (As does Enda Kenny).

Also, in 2009 our then minister for finance took advice of them on a US trip. After this trip the then goverment secured the bankers here in Ireland!

You work that out!

I doubt its a conspiracy how they earned their wealth. (Although I'm very much open to corection on that)

Its just that with that level of wealth they must have their fingers in a hell of a lot of pies and they are in a position to exert an awful lot of influence.

You work that out!

But that was an out of date lst, first read by David Norris into the Seanad record, of the Euroclear emembers in whose accounts the bonds were held. These will mostly (if not solely) been custody and clearing agents for te ultimate owners. I'm no Fine Gaeler but as the bonds were issued as bearer bonds, there is no way of knowing who beneficially owns them. This is a fact which Indakinny seems incapable of pleading in his own defence. Shane Ross as a former stockbroker should know this.

Interesting thing I read was, in 2000, 8 countries did not have Rothschild owned central banking,

Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, north Korea, Cuba , Iran.

Shortly after 9.11 the war on Afghanistan begins, Afghanistan no longer on the list, nor is 3 more.

Same as any other wealthy family that acts in concert. The reason for all the conspiracy theories about the Rothschilds is due to one thing - anti-semitism.

Navigated here from economics with a question as to who owns the Central Bank of Ireland.
From my research it would appear to be the Rothschilds family. A family, as pointed out in this thread, with much influence and power globally and I have read, wealth in the hundreds of trillions due to their involvement with Central Banks around the world.(And other nefarious dealings). Through my work, I am involved with the implementation of Central Bank regulation and legislation as it applies to Credit Unions and their governance. I am absolutely fuming at the ignorance of the institutions as to WHO actually wants to impose these restrictions and regulations. I've gotten into arguments about this and come across as a conspiracy LOON.
Am I right though? Do the Rothschilds family own the Central Bank?
