Hi, tryied to scan coupon in Tesco self-checkout till and coupon doesn't scan. Staff member looked and said that this is photocopied coupon and they will not accept. I suggest maybe I can't scan it as it was too small. Can you send me original size of coupon, to my email if possible? daivokasm@yahoo.com. Thanks!!

My experience in Tesco has been that many coupon barcodes will not scan correctly either through the self service or regular tills.
At the regular tills there is an additional hand held scanner and these appear to have the ability to scan the coupon barcode where the built in till scanner has previously failed.

This also applys to the yellow reduced barcoded labels.

I posted the voucher up twice in the original post - once as the single original coupon, and a second time with multiple copies to save on the old paper.

I would suggest not going to the self serve checkouts and instead using a regular checkout. FYI: there are limits also with self serve checkouts on the amount of coupons you can use.

i feel little bit weird about getting them for 49c, and I got like 20-30 pack so far since I got this coupon, always waiting for somebody in tesco to tell me - thats enough )

Lol 198321, I've given the coupon to a few lil ole ladies too when I see them buying it, spread the lurve :cool:

I think they thought I was mad or weird until I explained it but I figured they woudn't be boardsies and probably were just stocking up cos it was on offer. The coupons just made the offer better again for them.

Was in Tesco today, had coupon with me so I used it and got 2euro off.

I am 100% I got that 2euro off as if it didn't work I would return an item.

When I came home I discovered that I bought Benecol (3euro on offer) and used coupon for Danacol and it did work. On coupon it says customer assistant to make sure you actually buy Danacol, but I paid at self scans, not sure how I managed to mix Benecol and Danacol

I am surprised it did work, I thought system would not allow it.

Hi, I printed the four coupons but I've noticed that they all have the same number in the bar code. Will they be okay to use?

yes they still work even though the number is the same I use them all the time in Tesco and Lidl and there is never a problem
