Does anyone know where I can get cheap olympic plates in dublin or online . Ive heard of Gyms selling off old stock but I cant find any doing that at the moment . Ive looked at possibly every site online and they all charge around €50 -€60 per 20kg plate or around £50 on the UK sites .

If you're in the right part of Dublin (Fighting Fit in Camden St or 87 Furze Road, Sandyford Industrial Estate), you can pick up a 20kg plate for €40 from http://www.irish-lifting.com/olympic-iron-plates-pe-240.html. Otherwise, it'll be an extra €7 for delivery.

You can look but I doubt you'll get anything cheaper online because you'll be screwed with postage for a single 20kg plate with any of the UK websites.

Whilst buying, have a look at Bumper Plates as well - they may interest you if you're working out somewhere where floor protection is an issue.

The ownership of Irish Lifting has changed recently and they don't offer the pickup from Fighting Fit anymore.

Thanks for the reply guys , I'm looking for about 4 because I have a big enough set but I can lift all the weights I have . I've looked at the rubber and bumper plates but I think there too expensive individually .
