Cars and their unfortunate nicknames

Just reading an article on the Leyland Marathon, where it mentions that there was a joke that they were called the marathon, because they would only run for 26 miles before breaking down

It reminded me of the Clio 'Suprise' special edition, the surprise was that it didn't have power steering,

The Rover 25/45/75 were said to be named after the average age of their drivers

The lancia Y10 was nicknamed the 'White Hen'

Of course there was the BMW 318 tds (tedious)

In the noughties, Hyundai's range was referred to as the 'Accident', 'Trajedy' and 'Terracan't'

Any more unfortunately named models that I've missed?

Surely the Mitsubishi Carisma has to be in here with an honourable mention.

If ever there was a case against a car maker for blatant false advertisement, this was it.

Suzuki swift is untrue in most cases too.

I think I know what it'll come out as. The Nova (renamed C*rsa) was sold in Spain. 'No va' means 'Won't go'. Needless to say, it went nowhere.

Is there a nickname for Alfas? Besides 'heap of unreliable Italian shit,' I mean.

I hate car names that are meant to be pronounced in a fake posh foreign accent. So a Pajero will always be a Padger-oh to me

Triumph Acclaim translates as Sieg Heil in german.

Mitsubishi Colt was a small car, so naturally Stallion was to be the big one. But it ended up as Starion due to accent understanding difficulties...
