2 swollen knees

Not sure what is wrong with my 2 knees. Over 8 months ago I noticed that I had swelling under my 2 knees towards the inner leg just under the knee cap. Although I went to foot solutions in Cork and got my very high arches sorted out, the swelling is still there. it isn't sore just a bit tender when you push into the part…

Not sure what is wrong with my 2 knees. Over 8 months ago I noticed that I had swelling under my 2 knees towards the inner leg just under the knee cap. Although I went to foot solutions in Cork and got my very high arches sorted out, the swelling is still there. it isn't sore just a bit tender when you push into the part just on the inside side and behind the knee. It is identical in both knees. I have googled til I am blue in the face and have not found anything related. I notice sometimes when walking down stairs or if my legs suddenly change direction e.g when lungeing that the knee sems to "click" out of place for a few seconds.
am booking a physio appt next week. Have anyone had expeience of this or know what it could be be - what is the treatment
