Sirenian fossils found in the Pyrenees

Specifically, in Aragon, Spain. Over 550 fossils of these creatures were found, some of these still articulated. They are 45 million years old, being the oldest sirenian fossils ever found in Europe.

The article says that sirenian fossils had been previously found in Catalonia, but that sirenian fossils are very uncommon in the region. No genus name is mentioned.

I must say the presence of the name Aragosaurus (a Cretaceous sauropod) in the opening paragraph (I speak literally no Spanish) threw me right off!

They named their paleontology study group Aragosaurus XD
