A Euro Champ losing in his national championships; guess it goes back to my point about the ridiculous depth and talent around today and recently. I went to many senior championships and many would have had 3,4, 5, maybe 6 entries on average. Look at it now and of recent times, top class world amateurs being given real tough fights, and even losing in their national tournament. This can only be applauded and welcomed. Not the losing, the talent and depth of competition.

Moylette had pins taken out of his right hand 2 weeks ago. It wasn't 100%. He had an operation on it in november.

Whether he was serious, taking the piss or having a dig and moylette and the club, box offs should not be talked about.

No, I asked a simple question, no need to be crying about it

Not having a dig and why should I not ask the question, a chance of Olympic qualification is ultimately what this championships come down to

Now live streaming via Ustream. Don't know why this has not been publicised better by IABA

    http://www.ustream.tv/channel/iaba-boxing

    also Saturday night from 7pm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 215 ✭✭mjon3105

You can see all tonight's results and tomorrow's programme here:

    http://iaba1.byethost18.com/latest-results.htm

(or if that does not work see results section of iaba.ie
No big surprises tonight. All 10 bouts won by RED corner.
Close though for John Joe Nevin 13-12 over Sean McComb
Convincing 'wins' for Joe Ward,Con Sheehan and Adam Nolan.

Several womens finals tomorrow and remainder of men's semi finals.
    From7pm streamed live again

Where it says "another" means that the title will be won by the first named on
    walkover.

Great nights boxing ahead! that link is great. RTE are a disgrace .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 215 ✭✭mjon3105

I doubt it somehow but if you are online tonight sign in and ask them. If they say they have no plans to have them again maybe they could add them for you - and others - to the IABA.ie website OR better still put them on YOU TUBE .After all the more they put on IABA.ie the more Irish boxing fans can see their semi-finals and finals live.
They they stream them live next week especially as not everyone has access to RTE2 especially many outside of Ireland inc exiles.,all of whom would love to see them online.

Hi, anyone know the chances of getting tickets to see next Friday? Would tickets be sold out at this stage? Couldn't find any links online . Going to ring tomorrow but just said I'd ask here first as people have probably gone before.
    Thanks

Yes, and really, if he cannot then it doesn't bode well for his chances for London. Egan will pose problems, but Egan is sliding, and Ward should be improving. Beat him 12 months back, and Egan is not getting younger or better.
