    This morning, getting off the Luas, putting my bag over my shoulder, the stap fastening came loose and one corner fell to the ground. 'Grand', or so I thought, until I noticed a crease/dent right around the power on/off button. I don't understand how this happened.

    Two things about this: (1) it looks like the computer got a serious shock but seems to be functioning OK; and (2) this dent is going to seriously annoy me, I've only had the thing two months.

    I'm seriously asking if anyone has experience of fixing dings on unibody Macs? Easy or not to deal with?

    I guess it's under warranty, so messing around with it before the year is out wouldn't be the thing to do, right?

    As far as I know they can't be fixed without taking off the case which is expensive. Might be an idea to buy a shell off eBay to prevent future dings. Bare in mind the cases are supposed to protect the laptop.
