Someone put up the vid of his goal against ManU - there was beer everywhere when that went in!

There's actually 2 but this is the daddy!

I was behind that goal the night he scored that, what a buzz. Van Der Sar almost moved a little to his right as in a 'dare ya' to Naka to try and repeat the one he scored at Old Trafford earlier in the group.

That's some shot if it's real. Hard to believe these video's like the Dortmund players on a bus video from a while back which was fake.

    :D

Here's the TV version of that goal v Man Yoo at Parkhead.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8HIlE3JJSU

An amazing last 12 minutes or so that included this gem and a penalty save from Boruc. Strachan's reaction was hilarious. It was like yeeeeeees and then ......oh sh1t they're going to come at us big time now.....don't get carried away just yet.

The general performance from Celtic was backs to the wall that night. Naka's stroke of genius won the day. Magic.

He never played in the EPL so he couldn't be much use.
But he actually wasn't that much use apart from having a good strike from distance. He wouldn't have been a big hitter in most of the major European leagues.

The combination of having a wicked freekick, and being a diving cheating bastard was a winner.

There were times that he was being picked in the Celtic team when I felt he was there chiefly for marketing reasons - much like how a player like Park gets to play for Man United. Nakamura's general form was erratic at times.

He was deadly at free kicks though, and would have claimed a first team place at many EPL sides on that alone - besides his marketing value.

But Park is great in a 3 man midfield. Deserves his place there.

He was an excellent playmaker, sometimes he was poor and sometimes his performances were underrated because he wasnt going for hollywood passes.

    LOL
There is no way you could consider Nakamura an excellent playmaker at European level. Competent perhaps. Only excellent at SPL level.

I only imagined Liam Brady falling over himself complimenting him after some European matches.

Looks real, especially given his reaction of delight/relief when it went in.

But how did he know when the bus was going to EXACTLY arrive. That narrow street blocked his view of it coming.

(I'm at work so can't watch it with the volume up, did he get a warning to say it was coming? Cause even if he heard it, its hard to judge EXACTLY when the bus was going to come with the sound so far away).

The same thing happens after matches involving teams of all levels against all levels of opposition. It is all relative.

    Not a celtic fan :D

But Nakamura is basically a japanese beckham/Brazilian Juninho/irish delap

Some people have a special footballing gift, Nakamura has a fcuking sweet free kick and he made a living out of it. Cant really argue with that.

Also played in italy and spain so not sure what top leagues you think he didnt do it in.

Didn't see the last sentence there. He played for Reggina (hardly a hotbed of talent to be throwing in as something to be in awe of) in Italy and didn't get his game for Espanyol in La Liga.

I hate celtic as much as the next man but he has a decent free kick on him.

hard to see why you dont see that and in 2 decent leagues he got his game based on it.

He starts the run as soon as you see it, a lot of luck involved as a result but still a great shot to have made.

Absolute nonsense. Obvious you didn't see him play much if you think he wasn't of much use.

Nakamura was a very gifted player. He was a big reason as to why Celtic won three in a row. His technique was superb. He had incredible vision too. One thing that stopped him from becoming a big player was his lack of pace but his skill was good enough to make up for it.

What does that mean?? Who is this next man? Personally, I love Celtic. Naka would be a better all round player than Beckham. Beckham had better marketing however.

I'd say it's real but definately a set up.

The girls on the bus start clapping when the ball goes in.

Not the first thing that would go through your mind if a ball flew in a bus window.

He went to a better league and couldn't cut it. I wouldn't argue with you that he was a big reason that Celtic won 3 in a row because he was very good for that level. But not good enough to be a top player in one of the top leagues in Europe (which is what the argument that this stemmed from). I mean history proves it, he went to one and couldn't cut it.

Of course it's a set-up. Sure they had cameras on the bus and a extra large window open!

You more you talk the more it becomes obvious that you havent watch much of him playing at any level. 1 year in La Liga at 31 years of age means **** all and you know it but dont let that get in the way of you trying to get out of the corner you have backed yourself into.

Also, a player not adjusting to a new club doesnt mean he isnt good enough at that level especially when a club is playing them out of position. I suppose that wasnt written on Wikipedia for you?

What corner? The player never performed consistently at a high level. He was one of the better players in a very poor league. He has had a sufficiently long career but has never made anything of himself at a high level of football.

The SPL then and now are not comparable and it was a high standard of football and Naka was a stand out player.

*not hes fault none of the teams in the LOI could afford he's big toe :p

The SPL has not been a high standard of football in my lifetime. I'm 24 years old. Celtic and Rangers have both had some strong teams in my lifetime but that has never reflected the general quality of the league.

As for the kick, sweet kick but staged and it worked on the 545th time or something like that.

Knew one of the usual suspects couldn't handle it.

Claiming Nakamura is better than Beckham is ridiculous.

And claiming that this is staged and was probably the umpteenth attempt makes perfect sense, since all of these videos are done like that.

Those cross-bar challenges, the Ronaldinho Nike commercials,...

Naka is a genius so could prob do this but he never better than Becks as an all round player or close, he prob more gifted than Beckham tho like natually as a footballer
