* Speedplay stainless steel pedals - white, good condition, cleats a little worn €100
* Fizik Arione saddle, black, manganese rails - good condition - €45

Pedals 1 year old, we're on my race bike so in good condition not sure how many miles will try and get a pic up later. I think €100 is a fair price for em. Skeff

the 18T and 50T Im interested in for 50, but might not have the cash for a week or 2 if you still have them by then, just cant commit on it right now but very interested. I need a new commuting cog soon and a black 75 would look well on my blacked out track bike

I think Cramcycle wants the 50 and 18 and am supposed to meet him tomorrow, still have the other rings and sprockets. If the deal does not go ahead with Cramcycle then I will hold for you. I don't mind waiting a couple of wks. Skeff

Hi 25sean, the absolute lowest I could go on a chainring & sprocket would be €50. They are really expensive chainrings and sprockets to buy new, are hard to get and are hardly used.

would the calipers fit an old raleigh frame to your knowledge?

Hi there,

I think those weinmann calipers that you have are short reach so these should fit. There might be a little modification required though as the older style calipers you have use a nut to attach to the frame where as these and other modern calipers use an allen key bolt which is countersunk into the frame.

That's the issue. The nut as opposed to the allen bolt countersunk into the frame.

Yep, had the same issue on an old steel frame I had, wanted to upgrade the calipers to dual pivot as the old ones werent great had to do a small bit of drill work but in the end it worked out quite nicely. Modern dual pivot calipers are much more powerful.

I must take a look to see if there are any articles on the web about how its done.
