Guys I done an in play bet of +7.5,8.0 when it was 6-0

They paid back 1/2 win 1/2 void . What does that mean?

1/2 lose 1/2 void Im afraid

Oh, I see you did over 7.5,8 not +7.5,8!

In the asian line, if there are more then one option it will split your stake and put half on 7.5 and half on 8 in that case

Thanks . First time I done it like that wondered why it was void and not a loss

:) Brain all over the place with studying .

The Asian line can be confusing if you are used to just doing straight handicap betting

I'm sure you know it but just in case, if you back -1 in a straight handicap and your team wins by 1 thats a loss. If you do the same bet in the Asian handicap it would be a void bet.

Much better value to the punter in the Asian lines, the odds will always be a little better for a straight handicap, but I have not done a straight handicap bet in a long long time now due to the safety net of money back if the scoreline almost gets there!

OT case in point, I had Salzburg earlier -2, the game finished 2-0 Salzburg, and I was happy with that because it was a late goal :)

I'm fairly new to this and I find the Asian handicap betting very confusing. I placed 20 on the above bet, would you be able to tell me if that was a good or bad move? :/

Top of the page, the Strongest -2 in play @1.475?

    What was the score?

If it was asian in play betting then its taken as if the score is 0-0 and you would have to cover the handicap still

    eg

If The Strongest were 2-0 up at the time they would have to win by at least 5-0 to cover that bet for you, 4-0 would get you the bet voided, or 5-1 as it currently is, whoops make that 6-1, which would be a winner :)

Depends on what the score was when you placed it, I hope for you it was 2-0? Having said that, ages left in that game so whatever the score was you have a good chance

It was 5-0 when I placed it :/

I didn't realise that thanks so much for explaining ! I didn't think it went back to 0-0 if you get me. I was wondering why the returns for such a "sure thing" were so high! Ah well I guess that will teach me.. 20euro down the drain lol

    Draw - Deportivo Quito @ 16/1
Universidad De Chile v Deportivo Quito
    Half Time/Full Time
    Total stake €10.00
    Estimated return €170.00

Probably a stupid bet but worth a shot tbh
