Wash, cut and blow dry. Usually about 2 inches off the end. Do not thin my hair out. Do not add layers. Thankyaverymuch.

I have no vanity or illusion left about my appearance, so I've started cutting it myself. Sometimes it looks like I did it with a knife and fork, but it's a tenner saved.

Pony tail. the bible says not to cut your hair or trim your beard so I obey!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55 ✭✭Carverkid

Usually ask them just to cut it to half the length.

I've since learned rulers are not standard fare in barber shops.

Had long hair for years (dreads at one point) then shaved it off and continued to get a 1 blade almost monthly because it was starting to thin.

Letting it grow a bit again because I've stopped caring to to be honest.

At least post a picture of the back of your head. It'd be a sin not to show off such an expensive haircut :pac:

I didn't even get it cut for that!

It was a 12 week blow dry *senses readers of post losing interest and drifting off*.

But it does work out quite well on the cost per wear ratio :pac:

12 weeks?.. That seems like a long time for a blow dry.

They put formaldehyde or something in it. Keeps it straight for upwards of 12 weeks (my hair is curly). Anyway, I will get 16 weeks out of it. Is practically a bargain!

It's easy I just get a bowl (has to be the right kind of bowl or you'll just look stupid!!!)
place it on my head and cut, I don't have a scissor so I will use anything sharp so Ill get a knife and hold the piece of hair I want to cut but after breaking a few bowls I decided the best way to do this is to duct tape the bowl down and just plait the two remaining strands.

I've been growing it long again since October.

Shave it all off. Bought a electric shaver in Argos 10 years ago for £30 (yep - 'old' money), and been shaving it weekly ever since :)

    Just the ends off please.
No not that much, just a tiny bit.
    Little bit less than that.
Actually I don't think it really needs to be cut, curly blow dry please!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,648 ✭✭✭desertcircus

New clippers every year, about a tenner. Don't spend much on shampoo either.

I keep it short-ish (just above my shoulders). Can't be bothered with maintenance or styling it in the mornings. I'm far too lazy for that :pac:

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,030 ✭✭✭✭Chuck Stone

    I have a comb-up-and-over.

Being completely bald I've grown my armpit hair and comb it around the back of my shoulders, up the nape of my neck and over my dome.

Razor cut short and tidy every few weeks.

I've worked as an electrician for years, for 20 euros I can give you a 220 volt electric shock that will keep your hair straight for months. You may piss yourself unexpectedly ,but hey its cheap.
