Short Break in Barcelona

    Hi all,

    Heading to Barcelona the weekend of the 27th Jan, with my girlfriend, for 2 nights.

    Have planned a fair few things to do during the day but am just looking for a few suggestions as regards good restaurants and bars/nightclubs. Don't mind spending a few quid on a really special meal, so all suggestions welcome!

    We are staying near enough to the Gothic quarter so any suggestions within the general vicinity would be great! :)

    Also if anyone knows of any major or worthwhile events happening in the city that I might have missed, I'd love to hear them!!
