FACEBOOK - Why is everybody going somewhere?

    I've noticed over the last day or two a lot of people (all female) posting on their wall that they are heading off for a certain amount of time (always in months).

    EG
    I am going to France for 11 months,
    I am going to Japan for 24 months,
    I am going to Moscow for 8 months,
    i am....you get the picture.

    One girl said she is going to Peru for 27 months. (I wish ta fuk she would too).

    So whats the story. And why months rather than years. :confused:

    But the 24 months one is a joke tho. Why not say two years? ... but its obvious their mentality was 'oh 24 months sounds longer" ... stupid.

    Im going to Hospital in 3/4's of a year to have a baby! Women are on a monthly cycle I guess!
