    hey guys

running windows 7. and all off a sudden both the usb ports and my wireless stopped working..

i would assume that these are connected in some way as they both stopped working at the same time.

i cant pick up any wireless network signals or hook anything up through usb. although the card reader is still working..

what can i do ? any ideas?

Try removing them from device manager and then reboot. Windows should then see them as new hardware and reinstall them.

If that doesn't work try downloading the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website and install them.

go to device manager (start, control panel, device manager). The affected hardware icons will be highlighted with a caution symbol. Highlight and uninstall them. Then hard connect your laptop (plug the laptop directly into the internet connection) and search the internet for the required drivers and reinstall the hardware. Some sites will automatically detect missing/out of date drivers and install/update them. Should fix your prob.
