Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had a simple recipe for chocolate chip cookies? The dough itself doesn't need to be chocolate, if that makes sense? Looking for something to make with a youth group that wouldn't take longer than 1hr and a half. Is that too short for cookies? Cheers for any advice. Brian.

Hey everyone,

Vanilla extract is really good in chocolate chip cookies.

I made some really nice cookies this morning from a river cottage cookbook. Took about 20 mins in total incl cooking time. Simple recipe and tasted great! Only change I made was I used white chocolate.

I just made these - thanks for the link, Kenny_D.
They were gorgeous - crispy right at the outside, and soft in the middle.
The recipe made 11 huge cookies.
Easily the best cookies I've ever made - I'm not much of a baker, and these seem foolproof.

Yeah I've tried quite a few recipes and for the effort involved these turn out fantastic. I got 12 big cookies out of the recipe and we finished the last of them off tonight. They went down really well with everyone that had them
