    Hi.
Just wondering if anyone can offer any advice on an annoying problem I am having.
About 2 years ago I developed red blotchy skin across my chest, down my arms and a little bit at the back of my legs.
I went to the doctor but he was unable to give any real explanation. I used various creams such as Daktacourt and took Zirtec tablets but nothing really made any impact.
Then. I started using Aqueous Cream all over my body after showering and that seemed to help. After about 10 weeks the redness subsided and ever since then I have continued with the Aqueous Cream.
About 2 months ago this same problem has flared up again. It's not as bad as the previous time but it's really annoying. The base of my neck and the upper part of my chest is red and blotchy. There is a smaller amount of blotchinrss on both sides of my stomach and strangely there is a small patch on the back of my right hand.  It's bad after I've showered but does calm down a bit. The best way of describing what's on my lower neck and upper chest is that it looks a bit like sunburn.its totally flat and is not itchy.
Ima 48 year old male in what I think is good health. I had shingles about 8 years ago and suffer from a recurring cold sore on my chin/lip area.
I have always had red cheeks esp whenI get hot.
I would just be really grateful if anyone could recommend a cream that will help tone down the red blotchiness.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

I'm afraid no one can answer that for you here, you need to visit a GP. Thread locked.
