Is it right barcode English, Higher Level? I don't have Paper 1 but I have Paper 2 so I'm gonna list Paper 2 questions in detail. I'll try to post as much of Paper 1 as possible. Idk which barcode you are but Im gonna write it anyway for others to see.

    Paper 1:
Reading is about online social networking, watching TV and video games. It's about how it affects the brain of young people and why it's bad. Pretty straight forward. I don't remember all the questions but one of them asked you to explain two terms of the three, not all, just two.
They were infantalising (or something like that. Once you read the passage, it's obvious what it means. Basically it's a metaphor - basically in the passage, the author mentions that young people's brains are infantalised by e.g video games. It means that, like little infants, they are so concentrated and bewildered by the game/TV show that they have to be reminded that they still exist.
The 2nd term was "Flight or fight" or something like that. This referred to video games e.g shooters. These trigger our brain to follow our instinct, in other words, we think that we either run away or fight problems. The game does not actually trigger the logical part of the brain. It doesn't train it right.
    Don't remember the 3rd term :/ Sorry
Other questions were if you think social networking affects our ability to build relationships and stuff like that. Simple.

Personal Writing titles. Cant remember them all. Some of them were: Education is the most powerful weapon which could change the world (the one I did), Faraway hills are green (or something like that? xD Idk) and I cant remember the rest. They're pretty simple as far as I remember. You'll find something for you.

(70 marks) Functional Writing: The first dont exactly remember cause I didnt do that one BUT I think it was writing a letter to a magazine to be hired. The 2nd choice is to write a review of your favorite movie for a Teen Magazine.

(40 marks) Section 4, Media Studies. You got a choice of looking at 2 pictures and describing them in detail and then discussing which one you think delivered the message better ( I didnt do this one so I dont exactly remember the picture - I think it was about poverty and/or war - one showed apicture of crowds in Africa and the other a white father and a child hiding while officers pass by)
Second choice was writing the advantages and disadvantages of the following in terms of delivering news: Newspaper, TV, Internet, Radio
(So stuff like, newspapers are inconvenient because they cannot be updated immediately, radios are good because they have a variety of content, TV is good because it's visual and we can see footage of e.g disasters such as tsunamis, internet is good because it's easily accesible. You just name the advantages and disadvantages of each form of delivering news)
Once you write that, you have to describe which form of delivering news is the best and why (I chose TV cause I thought it was the easiest)

    That's Paper 1.

Paper 2 (Got it right in front of me :D Im not gonna write out full plays and dramas, I'm just gonna summarize them xDI'd be sitting here all night):
Drama: Shakespearean Drama: The extract is from Twelfth Night by Shakespeare. Roughly it's about a young woman called Viola who speaks with a captain whose crew have rescued her from a shipwreck. They discuss her loss and her plans for the future. She lost her brother and they discuss him, they comfort her, she's worried that he died etc.
I didnt do this one though.

Questions: Answer TWO of the following.
Q1. How did Viola and her brother get separated from each other? Support your answer with reference to the text. (15 marks)

Q2. What do we learn about the character Orsino from this extract? Base your answer on the extract. (15 marks)

Q3. You have been asked to direct this play. Outline how you would direct this scene with reference to the following: (15 marks)
    (a) Gestures by the actors
    (b) Costume/dress to be worn by the actors
    (c) Setting

    (B) Other Drama

This is the one I did. Its taken from The Audition by Don Zolidis.
It's about how a new theatre teacher is bringing a production of a show to a high school. The scene opens with Elizabeth and her mother on the way to the audition.
Basically, her mother is very controlling and she makes Elizabeth do all these different activities that Elizabeth doesn't want to do. What confused me in this extract was Elizabeth's dialogue because one moment she tells her mom that she doesn't want to do any of this and then the next second she says "For You. I'll go to Yale. I'll marry a doctor." etc. Basically she's an idiot. I was a bit confused but it was better than Shakespearean.

    Questions:
    Answer 2 of the 3.
Q1. What do we learn about the character of Elizabeth from this extract? Support your answer with reference to the text. (I mentioned 3 points, and quoted like 1 or 2 quotes and explained a bit. Again, I was a bit confused so I sort of wrote what I thought. Maybe I nailed it, maybe not. I said that Elizabeth was indecisive (obviously lol), she was weak and gave up too easily (cause she was weak and didnt stand up to her mom) and she was dependent thought she wanted to be independent because her mom controls her ( Cause she stands up to her mom for 1 second and then chickens out again. This is where I may have shown a bit of confusion). (15 marks)

Q2. How would you describe the relationship between Elizabeth and her mother? Base your answer on the extract. (**** basically.) (15 marks)

Q3. You have been asked to play the part of Elizabeth for a classroom production of this play. How would you play your part? You might refer to tone of voice, movement, costume, facial expression etc. (I hate questions like these, didnt do this one. Thank god for choices) (15 marks)

    Question Two.
N.B You must give the name of the play that you chose.

    1. Name a play you have studied and name who you think is the main character. Explain how this character grows or changes throughout the play. (I did Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird) (30 marks)

    OR

    2. Select a play you have studied where you felt the ending was disappointing. Explain why you were disappointed and suggest a better conclusion to the play. (30 marks)

Poetry. I TOTALLY screwed up on this part. I'm just gonna write out the whole poem for this because I need someone to explain this to me. It seems so freaking obvious but really annoying and difficult to answer at the same time. I could only make like, 2 points on each answer from this Unseen Poem.

    Poem title:

Fifteen, Maybe Sixteen Things to Worry About

My pants could maybe fall down when I dive off the diving board.
My nose could maybe keep growing and never quit.
Miss Brearly could ask me to spell words likes "stomach" and "special" (Stumick and speshul?)
I could play tag all day and always be "it".
Jay Spievack, who's 14 feet tall, could want to fight me.
My mom and dad - like Ted's - could want a divorce.
Miss Brearly could ask me a question about Afghanistan. (Who's Afghanistan?)
Somebody maybe could make me ride a horse.
My mother could maybe decide that I need more liver.
My dad could decide that I needed less TV.
Miss Brearly could say that I have to write script and stop printing. (I'm better at printing.)
Chris could decide to stop being friends with me.

The world could maybe come to an end on next Tuesday.
The ceiling could maybe come crashing on my head.
I maybe could run out of things to worry about.
And then I'd have to do my homework instead.

    Questions:
    Answer ALL questions (3 questions)
Q1. What do we learn about the speaker in this poem? Support you answer with quotation from the poem. ( I think I forgot to quote o_o I'm screwed.) (10 marks)
Q2. Why does Miss Brearly cause so much concern for the speaker? Explain your answer with reference to the poem. (10 marks)
Q3. Do you like how the poem ends? Explain your answer. (10 marks)

    Question Two:
Give title of the poem you chose and name the poet.

    1. Youth and old age are very common themes in poetry. Choose a poem that you have studied that explores either childhood or old age. How does the poet deal with this theme? (30 marks)

    OR

    2. From the poetry you have studied, choose one poet whose work you particularly enjoyed. Explain why you liked his/her work with reference to their poems. (30 marks)

    Fiction:

This is an extract taken from the novel The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 and three quarters by Sue Townsend.
It's about a boy whose parents dont really take care of him well, they get drunk and he's pretty unhappy. His dog runs away, he grows a big zit on his chin, he has a crap diet and doesnt get Vit. C and his mom ignores his requests to improve their lifestyle. I hated the questions on this. Meh, I didnt like Paper 2 overall. Btw, this is written in a journal/diary way e.g

    "Thursday, January 1st."
    Blahblahblah

    "Friday, January 2nd."
    blahblahblah

It's a pretty long story, goes on for 2 pages and a bit.

    Questions: (Answer 2 of 3)
    1. Is Adrian a happy teenager? Explain your answer with reference to the text. (15 marks)
    2. What do we learn about Adrian's parents from the text? (15 marks)
    3. Do you think this extract is humorous? Support your answer with reference to the text. (15 marks)

    Question Two
Answer EITHER Question 1 or Question 2

Name the text you chose and author
    1. From a novel or short story you have studied, choose a character who had to overcome great difficulties.
    (a) Outline the difficulties the character faced, supporting your answer with reference to the novel/text.
    (b) Do you admire this character? Give reasons for your answer
    ( I did Romeo from Romeo & Juliet ) (30 marks)

    OR

    2. Choose a novel or short story that you have studied which contained humour. Discuss how the author used humour to entertain and interest the reader. (30 marks)

Phew, that's it. I must say Paper 1 was easy as hell. I was finished it pretty quickly, had like 30 mins left or something.
Paper 2 on the other hand was a bit trickier for me since we haven't done enough for it yet. Didnt really like Paper 2.

Anyway, this is RIGHT BARCODE (Examcraft) Higher Level English

EH I am sorry to have to tell you but To kill a mockingbird is a novel and you answered on it where you were supposed to answer on Romeo and Juliet.
Romeo and Juliet is a play and you answered on it where you were supposed to answer on To kill a mockingbird.

Know the reformation (and plantations i think, cant remember) for Q5, for Q6 you need to know: Age of explorations, know how the portuguese contributed to the age of explorations and why there were conflicts between the countries (something like that) and explain what either a compass, astrolabe, quadrant or portolan chart does (u need to do 2) then for another part, for WW2, its like, write an account on the battle of britain and operation barbossa and there were some otger stuff in that part but i cant remember, it was pretty short though. know monks and monstery and plantations for Q1 & (i think) Q2 too.

anyone help me with geography left barcode?

    Thank you!

    Geography left barcode:
the short questions were pretty simple, mainly diagrams. Long Q1 was about one positive and one negative effect of a named volcano. You also had to explain what a magma chamber, layers and the cloud of smoke are. Then you have to name abd describe how one river feature is formed. Then you need to draw, label and explain fold mountains. Q2 was on farms or something but I didn't do it. Q3: there were too populations pyramids and you have to compare birth rate, death rate and life expectancy. Then you have to write about the functions of a town you studied and explain urban sprawl. Then you had to name one push and one pull factor that contributed to the growth of an underdeveloped city you studied and explain one problem the city has. Q4 was a mixed question that had rocks and weathering and stuff and Q5 was an OS map of Cobh. You had to describe three reasons why tourists would visit here and draw, label the map etc. I did Q1, 3 and 5 which were pretty simple, you'll be fine :)

This is Geography Right Barcode (Examcraft) Higher Level
For Paper 1, make sure that you know the cold ocean currents and warm ocean currents. They will ask you in the 1st question to tick the cold ocean current (the answer is The Labrador Current).
Q2 they ask you to name the climate of the region shown on the map. Answer is Mediterranean climate
I dont remember Q3, but short answer questions were very simple. They asked you to name one of the plate tectonics shown on the map (The answer was American plate. I said Eurasian 'cause I wasn't sure if there was an American one xD)
Another question is on polders. They simply ask you to tick what a polder is. The answer is it's reclaimed land from the sea in Netherlands. It's really easy
Also know what limestone and gravite look like and whether theyre soft or hard rocks and where they can be found. You'll be asked to circle these answers. There will be a picture of limestone. There is also a question on mass movement where they show a picture of soil creep and you are asked to circle things about it, for example, it said soil creep/avalanche. You circle soil creep. Then it asks if it occurs in dry or wet conditions. Then it asks if it's a form of fast or slow mass movement. You just have to circle answers.
Then there is a question on aid and it asks you to match the definiton with the name of aid, so for example, you have
    A
    B
    C
    D
and you are asked to put e.g A = 1
because A stands for the name of Bilateral Aid and the number (1) represents the definition. Straight forward.
There's also a question where you're asked, in the same style as the previous one, about the features of a river. There is an oxbow lake, a floodplain, a levee and a tributary. Very easy.
Some other questions include using the O.S Map. They're very simple. Theres a question on settlement patterns where they show you a dispersed pattern and youre asked to tick which pattern it is.
Also, they asked you to name the Demographic Transition Model (they showed it to you and asked you to name it. It then asked about things about the diagram which were on the diagram itself so no knowledge is needed there)
Another question on O.S asks you look at box (For example, G 69 76) and find the pattern there and name it. It's really simple, short answers were super easy.

    Long Questions:
The first question was on relief rainfall, greenhouse effect etc.
You were asked to draw a diagram and explain relief rainfall. That was part A
Part B had a diagram of freeze-thaw action in it and you were asked to name the type of weathering (so freeze-thaw action) and asked to describe how it works.
Part C asked you to name 2 fuels that add to the greenhouse gases. Then it asked you to describe how the greenhouse gas effect occurs with a labelled diagram.

Q2 was on population, I didn' do it so I cant remember much.
I do remember that it asked you to refer to a country you have studied and describe how climate has helped it to develop.
I don't remember much from this question.

Q3 was on farming I believe, but i cant remember. It asked you to describe a farm and how it works as a system of inputs, processes and outputs. Obviously there was part A, B, C to Q3 but I didn't do it so can't remember. It also asked a lot about rocks and describing how gravite was formed I believe. It also asks what type of rock marble is (metamorphic? i know its formed from limestone but idk if it's metamorphic. I suck at rocks, I didnt do Q3 xD) It asked a lot about rocks but I dont remember any more details on Q3.

Q4 was geographical mix. I did thsi one. There was 4A, 4B, 4C and 4D in this one. You only had to do 3 of those. I did them all by accident xD
Btw this is in no particular order, I cant remember the order of them
I know this one was part A for sure though. It asked you name and describe with a diagram a feature of river deposition.
Another one in that question was to draw a sketch map of the aerial photograph that you are provided with and label some stuff on it. ( A church, a main road, a factory and a pier)
Another one was to name a factory you've studied and describe how it chose its location.
I can't remember the 4th choice even though I did it as well.

Q5 was as always on O.S maps. It just asked to draw a sketch map of it and label a river, a national road (it's green and white in stripes) a beach and I think something else.
It also asked you to name 2 patterns of settlement that you can see on the map and explain reasons for one of those patterns location or why you think they developed. So for example, I might say for part (i) Nuclear settlement = G 67 78
    Linear settlement = G 68 69
And then for part (ii) I choose one of those, so for example Linear, and explain why I think it developed there, so e.g it developed along a road because its the main road and its easy access around the city. it's also close to a main built up area and a beach therefore it's close to places where it can get its leisure, sport and recreational facilities.
Then they give you three grid references where there is no settlement and ask why you think theres no settlement. The answer is because it's a mountainous area therefore it's cold. There are no roads nearby so transport is bad. It's also far away from any built up urban areas therefore it's a very inconvenient place to live. Obviously you wanna expand that a bit but that's the general idea.
I think there's 1 more thing they ask you in Q5 but Im not sure. I can't remember it.

I tried as hard as I could to remember everything. I wasnt allowed to keep Paper 2 so I couldnt give a whole bunch of detail but I hope i helped!
Again, this is right barcode (examcraft), Higher level Geography.
If you have any questions, ask me! :D Don't worry about Geography, it was really simple.
I don't know if this will be of any use since a lot of people are finished their exams but I know that some people don't start till tomorrow so I figured I'd post everything I know anyway.

I don't know if this will be of any use since a lot of people are finished their exams but I know that some people don't start till tomorrow so I figured I'd post everything I know anyway.

    wow. you're so hardworking

Hey, I was just wondering if the teacher's know the people who will be correcting your exam?? Because I sit at the very front of the exam hall and overheard my history teacher saying something like... ''but yeah, she corrects these tests very hard. She always looks for great detail..'' while she was holding the test talking to another teacher. I'm getting kind of worried that my correcter will be harsh, so can some1 please tell me if they're anonymus???? :(:(:( PLEASE???
