My dad just bought a 70" Sharp Aquos (yeah he's a crazy bastard) and while I've got the WiFi setup, and I can see and pull content from my computer (Music, Video, etc) from the PC library, I am unable to push it over to the TV. Anyone familiar with how to do this? The DLNA is working but not the way I'd like it to :/

I hate the Tech Category so much. Everytime *I* have a problem, it's always one of those problems nobody knows the answer to.

DLNA is client/server. Your TV is the client and your PC/NAS is the server. You generally cant 'push' from server to client AFAIK. Apple mirroring is the only 'push' methodology I am aware of.

Of course I could be completely wrong!!!

I figured it out. Apple TV is one of them but there are others. I posted in the forum sticky. Most TVs and Plays are DLNA certified DMPs (Digital Media Players) not DMR (Renderers). I don't really cop the distinction on a technical level, one way or another you are playing from the same file at the same location, but few devices are DMR.
