SO SPEAKY HDMI+ Problem :(

    Hello Folks, hopefully someone out there can help me!!
    I have a 1.5TB SO SPEAKY HDMI+ Multi Media Hard Disk for the last year, but just this week, it has stopped working on my TV. I can still view all files when I connect to my laptop and it's working fine in that regard.
    But its like my TV isn't reading it, it's not even giving me the menu option.

    I've tried to do a firmware update from the below site but, it's only giving me a ROM file that doesn't seem to do anything for me :(
