I hope runireland have done something about their website and traffic. It has been a total joke trying to register for this event the last few years.

This may be the link < Here > but last year I think they only put the entry page online on the time it was meant to.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 896 ✭✭✭NTC

is anyone able to find the link to enter the race? i keep getting the page but no link to enter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 184 ✭✭Bob_the_dog

Why do I have 800 entries in my head, it was 8.45 last year before I got thru

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 723 ✭✭✭finlma

A joke yet again. Surely this could have been predicted. It's hardly the New York marathon we're trying to enter. Runireland can't even handle a few hundred requests.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 561 ✭✭✭Foxx92

anyone got a link to the entry page? I keep getting to pages with no option to enter!

i think it could be 800, but afaik 30 entries go to each club.

or possibly sharing the link to an inside group of people and guaranteeing themselves places before making it public </conspiracy>

It's been the same the last few years.

Is Mick Rice in Tuam in charge? Can anyone get in touch with him to see if we'll be able to enter tonight. I'm afraid to even go to the toilet in case I miss out.

Its a mick at Athenry AC who is the contact, poor chap is going to have a truck load of emails to go through. Be creative with the subject line to dodge the 'delete' button.

Fair enough the traffic is slowing it down, but there should be a button there, and it's just not in the pages' code.

I'm thinking the button is hidden in a . or something at this stage. Keep getting the 'Enter this Event Online' & €30 and nothing.
