Looking for some advice on energy providing products

    Basically i've got a whole gym set up in the house but i never seem to have the energy to go and use it
    What i'm looking for is advice on the best shake or supplement to take to give me the get up and go
    Before i start trying protein shakes or weight gainers i want to get myself into optimal shape first so it will be easier to keep it that way
    Just need something to give me the optimal energy to start off

    haha doesnt work, then again i'm a regular consumer of coffee, monster etc so they have little effect on me
    Looking for more of a shake so i can give up the coffee and energy drinks

    Proper nutrition is your best bet, get your fuel from food! Blanket statement: everything else comes with a (some horrible) crash once the leves drop in your system.

    Edit: Re read what I posted earlier....Same with food but it should be your source for energy!! :(

    In my experience if your diet is cr@p, your energy levels will be lower than the optimum. Likewise if you dont rest enough (or too much). So before you knock back the energy drinks, check both those issues.

    Other than that, you just need to get in and start using your gym. Force yourself in there. The more you train, the more energetic you will get, over time. There is no magic bullet/shake/tonic to get you up and moving, you need to find that ooomph within yourself. Its called motivation. :)

    You don't lack energy, you lack motivation. Unless you're on the verge of sleep the whole time you're at home, you're capable of working out. Stop making excuses, put down the remote and do some exercise.
