A few things I assume I'd have to do like get it network unlocked and get a new SIM from 3 to fit an iPhone (that wont be a problem will it?).

Once I've done those 2 things will I be good to go?

what about the fact that this iphone think's it's "Julie's iphone" and has all her apps etc on it, is it simple enough to restore it to factory settings and start fresh?
