Burrin Manor, Carlow

Just a quick question on what peoples opinions on the housing estate, Burrin Manor is like...
Have heard a few bad reports but its the only accommodation I can afford at the minute and wondering what is SO bad about this area?
I have driven around and it seems fairly okay! Nothing out of the ordinary. Driven around at night and all was quiet!
Not sure what is so bad by the looks of things!
Anyone any experience living in the area?

is not that bad up here i lived here before and was a nice place to live, if you keep yourself to yourself you will be fine

Yes because I see how your post is so useful. My location is listed under my user name, not without its faults either.

Don't see how my post is ignorant or useless to be honest. I would have thought anyone researching an estate/area to live might google it to see if there is regular trouble there. That's just me though.

I used to live in the Laurels - next estate down - and my cousin lived in Burrin Manor at the same time - he never had an ounce of trouble in the year or so he lived there - now there was some sort of ****e on a regular basis across the green from him (lad falling home pissed and beating the ****e outta the wife), but nothing that directly affected him.

as long you keep yourself to yourself you'll b grand, like dont be blaring loud music or being very nosy etc as them houses are timber frame built and the walls r very hollow. very easy to keep warm as a result though. decent sized back n front gardens btw.
