    Hi all.
Can anyone tell me if there is much difference in the quality of different brands of power racks ?
In my searching I've come across, Bodycraft, Bodymax, TDs and Powertec.
Does anyone know if Bodycraft and Bodymax are the same brand as their racks seem very similar in photos ?
Are they of a good quality compared to powertec or TDS ?
There is such are large amount of racks and differences in prices it makes choosing one a bit of a headache.

I'm looking for the best value for my money, not looking to spend a fortune unnecesarily ie not going to buy the biggest rack if I'll never come close to needing it or if something cheaper would suffice.

I have the Bodymax cf475 and it's very solid. Supports 200kg+ on the hooks and safety bars most weeks. If it fails I'm going to die and I feel fairly confident I won't die. That's about the best praise I can give it.

Where did you get the rack Kev? How much was it delivered can you remember?

What about getting someone to make you up a "cage"? It would be for your exact space/spec and a hell of allot cheaper and studier in my opinion.

I personally just ordered a sort of frame, it bolts to the wall and floor, has adjustable hooks and the top can be used for pull ups. €240. You can find people on adverts who make them up. (not me by the way) just someone I found on adverts.

bodymax and bodycraft both come from the same supplier quality would be very similar but yeah deffo the cf475 is the best value option and theres a lot of add ons you can get too! I used to sell powertec and a huge fan of the brand but there prices are rediculous now stopped bringing them in coz of the cost!! cf47f will take pretty much any capacity of weight the avg person can bench or squat , the lighter version cf375 you be looking at 180 kg , for the extra few bob get the cf475 :)
