Agricola and Caverna two games I previously wanted to play big time,but............

    Agricola replaced by Caverna
Caverna replaced by Glass road.............at least for me.

Looks like I won't be getting Caverna after all. I like the look of Glass road better, as it would would suit me better time wise...............and price:D.

Grab one if you haven't got one. You won't regret it. And get the expansion too.
    Class game.

Betrayal at the House on the Hill and Shadows Over Camelot are on the Christmas list.

Then most of what has been on the Tabletop show (bar what I've already bought)

And have a list of games on my phone to check reviews of...

    Perhaps I have a problem!

    🤪

Wil Wheaton has a lot to answer for. I'm debating Takenoko at the moment.

    Damn you Wheaton!!!!!!!!

I wish to buy coup after playing it today, also looking for a reasonably price betrayal at the house on the hill

The nostalgia is strong in this one (HeroQuest 25th Anniversary, due Dec 2014)

    No the cheapest though...

Found the original up in my attic recently with most of the expansions. The box is in rag order and everything is just chucked into it.

I NEED to get Zombicide for Christmas.

I'll be heading off to Wicklow before long in order to get it, and perhaps some of the expansions.

I'm a huge zombie fan, at least eight feet tall last time I checked!

Decided life is too short and Ordered a Study in Emerald

Hope to have it in time to play it at Knavecon

A mix of Carcasonne & Agricola

I like the look of this one . I know friends /family wouldn't play Agricola ,but this looks like one that could scratch the same itch ,and that more importantly I could get people to play.

I'm also intrigued that he reckons its better than eclipse, and by the same designer.

Got to play a Study in Emerald a few times now. Awesome. suitably different. takes a bit of getting used to but a very nice and deep game

Agree!!! One of the best games I played so far in 2014. Also, it is worth to spend 25 minutes and read Neil Gaiman 'A Study in Emerald' short story.

I'm mad to get my hands on Nations. Only problem is it's all sold out. Any1 know where there's a copy available at a decent price?
I know the game itself is fairly pricey but some are just fleecing it completely.

Another one on my wish list. I really like the look of this one.

Too many boardgames and too little time. :(
