    Hi.

Just looking for views on this course. I'm just completing an economic undergrad, and am interested in doing a postgrad course, fuelled simply by an interest in the subject, not for the sake of doing a masters.

I have heard that the equivalent in Trinity is a bit heavier on the quants side of things, which doesn't interest me at all. I am more interested in policy implications etc; I'll gladly do maths and econometrics, but I wouldn't want that to be the sole focus of the course, I'm interested more in the theory and application/empirical research.

Can anyone tell me how difficult the applied macro module is for example?

Also - when is the ucd postgraduate open day this year?
