What annoys me more is when you ask for an extra sachet of ketchup and they look at you like your some sort of sex offender or is it only me that happens to :)

I don't understand why they always put the salt on first and then the vinegar. Surely the salt slides off and to the bottom of the bag, vinegar first makes the salt stick. Well its always worked that way in my random logic anyways.

Yep, chipper i go to gives you a couple of ketchups for free and guess what- people keep going back to them. Effing hate chippers that charge 30 to 50 cent for a bit of ketchup, its just meaness plain and simple.

Though technically not a chipper, burgerking on the Belgard road in Tallaght limit you to one (possibly two) sachets of ketchup.

Ask for more and the want 30c a sachet the greedy houndogs!

    Because it's 'salt and vinegar'

If you asked for 'vinegar and salt' you might as well walk into the chipper with an 'I'm a pedophile' t-shirt on.

Nah the salt sticks to the chips cos of the heat/grease then the vinegar dissolves it turning the chips(especially on the top of the bag) into one of lifes awesome pleasures!

    Why
People sometimes have the habbit of robbing the salt and vinegar particularly when drunk. A Chinese takeaway near us would never let anyone do it themselves.

There was a time when junkies would stroll into a chipper, take the vinegar, rinse their needles and replace the vinegar. May be an old wives tale or just a greedy chipper owner who didn't want to share his vineger, but I was happy for them to dish out the salt and vinegar after hearing that.
