Monday night Grapling welcomes to its roster...Marty Jannetty and Al Snow a.k.a. The New Rockers

    01.jpg

I wasn't sure whether or not to go for Jannetty as it seems to be the obvious thing to do when you've got Michaels. Storyline-wise he represents a headache as I have been planning to use the Rock N Roll Express to play off their history with HBK.

Considering there are impressive tag team divisions in the game though, the temptation to have matches involving The Rockers and The RNR Express or The Midnight Express is just too great.

As for Al Snow, he brings something different to my roster. Voted most underrated wrestler by the Wrestling Observer in 1996, he is capable of producing in the ring in either a technical or hardcore style. He was also crazy entertaining with his 'head' gimmick in ECW as this vid shows...

    MNG roster thus far:

    1. Batista
    2. Mitsuharu Misawa
    3. Shawn Michaels
    4. The Ultimate Warrior
    5. The Midnight Express
    6. The Rock 'n' Roll Express
    7. Jim Cornette
    8. Trish Stratus
    9. Nick Bockwinkel and Ray Stevens
    10. Manami Toyota
    11. Konnan
    12. Marty Jannetty and Al Snow

Fusion Pro Wrestling is proud to welcome the man who, globably, has had the best year out of anyone in the world of wrestling. His year has been so good in fact that FPW's Board of Managment was stunned when GM Stan Hansen turned up with his name as a signing since they were sure he was taken back in the early stages of this years draft.

Please welcome Hiroshi Tanahashi to our roster!

one of the hottest prospects in FCW, if not THE hottest.

has wrestled, and gained "props" from the likes of CM Punk and HHH in the meantime. and by HHH's recent comments, he's one of those who will be a part of WWE's long term future direction.

fortunately for me, he's part of Slick Wrestling Federation's short-term future :D

    Stip: ROTW eligable round -

In this next round the eligability rules become a lot more open. Once again the post 1970s deubt rule is removed for this rule as you are now able to pick people who never fought for/in the big american promotions.

Introduced last year to help round out peoples rosters this round has means you could technically draft an Irish wrestler who never wrestled outside of in Ireland 50+ years ago if you so wished so there are loopholes a plenty here.

One note as with last year If you do use this round to get someone in who was previously ineligable, you cannot take a tag team

Jeff Jarett and the Worlds Greaates Stable wont be too pleased with the BWA's next draft pick as it adds to the growing Mexican contingent in the promotion. The reaction of Rey Mysterio & Mil Mascaras could also be interesting considering this man is also known as according to Wiki
considered to be one of the greatest Mexican wrestlers of his time

A man who not only won the NWA World Welterweight Championship from Santo, and held it for 5 years but also the person who replaced Santo as the star of Enrique Vergara's luchadore movies.

He was never defeated in hair or mask matches and has notable history with BWA star Mil Mascaras. Again from Wiki
starred as the leader of a squadron of masked superheroes known as Los Campeones Justicieros (The Champions of Justice). Membership in the Champions included such legendary Mexican wrestling figures as Mil Máscaras

I give you star of such movies as Blue Demon vs The Infernal Brains, Santo vs Blue Demon in Atlantis, Santo and Blue Demon vs Dracula and the Wolfman, and The Mummies of Guanajuato co-staring Santo and Mil Máscaras... it is of course Blue Demon

Fusion Pro Wrestling's Board of Directors and General Manager Stan Hansen have bee working together to find someone for Hansen to face at Austin vs. Del Rio in a few weeks time. They have agreed with Hansen that the Mexican fans need to be treated to all styles of wrestling, including a hard hitting stiff contest that Stan Hansen is known for. With that FPW have agreed to sign one of the toughest SOB's to ever come out of Japan, and a man Hansen knows VERY well, Mr. Jun Akiyama!
