I can't help but wonder about crossfit records. A google search has not brought me much info. Does anyone know where there is a list of wod world records?

Also while I'm here, may as well find out about Irish records. Please post her if you or your friends have some serious times in the bench mark workouts.

I know alot of the best crossfitters are not members of the affiliates. So please post in your times or the best times from your gym.

I don't think this post belongs in this forum to be honest.

Isolated WOD "world records" entirely misses the point of CF competition. And then there's the movements standards thing - you don't tend to see named WODs appear in comps, so there's no real basis for comparison as a result.

That being said, I know there's a <2 minute Fran out there - YouTube "bionic on Fran".

beyondthewhiteboard.com is about as close as you'll get.

yeah I saw that one. He lets go/throws the bar on the 21st, 15th and 9th thruster.
The butterfly pull up look ridiculous and open up a can of worms of debate.

Any good Irish times out there?

Not sure what's going on here. Are you looking for an argument with me? I just wanna know how fast peole do bench mark wods.
Don't care about how it fits into the big scheme of the strength and fitness world.

Ok with what? Psychos throwing weight around a gym?
Don't care as long as it's not in the gym I'm in.

Yes, I'm sure there are some good ones too. Would you like to tell me about some?

No, but you just criticized the most technically perfect fast Fran on the net, so one wonders what other holes you'll pick in times posted. Hardly seems like there's much point if that's the case?

World wide, as stated, beyondthewhiteboard is where to look. Or the CF forums. Or the CF games competitor profiles.

There's at least a few <3m frans in Ireland. Possibly a < 2m 30s. No idea on anything else.

You'll never make a crossfitter with that attitude

There are some good irish crossfitters spread around the world also, think someone said an irish lad went to the games in the team event or at least australian regionals. Also the affiliate I was a member of was run by a guy from cork who was pretty good. Not sure if you want to include that kind of person in irish times

Not criticizing exactely. I said the pull ups look ridiculous. Much like asics runners. They are tecnically very good but look like s••t. So I think the pull ups look ridiculous but also I wish I could do them.
Butterfly pull ups do open up debate. One I would stay away from. I have no interest in criticism or debate.
No motives here, just interested to see who can do what.

I'd say with a bit of practice, Brian O Driscoll would have some incredible times.

Just trying to make some friendly conversation about good athletes crossing over. Interesting for me and maybe some others.
No need to take the piss.

Dude just concentrate on getting better at the wods you do and thats all that matters.

If you want to know the best then man up and compete at the annual crossfit games (2 irish in top 14 in europe last year) -

    All the best man

Dude, I'm am concentrating on getting better.

But I have on interest in top level crossfit. Just like millions of average people play football but take an interest in the best players in the world.
I don't think it's a matter of "manning up". Not everyone can make it.
Are rugby fans not "manning up" for not making it as pro players.
    Congrats on making top 14.

How is any of that relevant?

Drico is actually full on broken and has a long ass career as an international rugby player under his belt. I doubt it, is all.

    http://games.crossfit.com/finals/competitors

That link will probably be of interest. Self reported stats of crossfitters that made it all the way to the final games. Presuming they are capable of making it to the games I'm guessing the are honest in their form for the times they have reported. There will be people out there that can beat any of those stats or times by themselves I'm sure but these are the people with the best all around skills that crossfit tests so I think it's a pretty good place to look.
