This proves to be a popular walk so I will start off this year with it…..

    I am thinking of:
    Time: 7pm
    Date: WEDNESDAY 11th January
Start: Georges Quay (Opposite Custom House)
Direction: – down the docklands towards Samuel Beckett Bridge – cross to Dublin Convention Centre.

This walk is great for reflections and different shutter speeds.

    Who is welcome?
    Everybody!

Even if you have a Point & Shoot or a film camera, are an amateur or Pro. Everybody is welcome.
You will need a tripod, if you don't have one then say so and someone may have a spare for you.

Register your interest here and I will try and send you my mobile num nearer the date.
Mention what camera you have and somebody might bring a spare lens for you to try.

Will, unfortunately I don't think I can make this walk as our club ( Greystones Camera Club ) meet every Thursday night. Having been on this route a few times I know there are some excellent opportunities for some very nice long exposure shots.
I hope there is a good turnout.
    Happy new year.

I can bring along a spare basic tripod you may use.

I'll bring along an extra tripod in case anybody is stuck.
Looking at the forecast for Wednesday, it looks like it will be mild and dry evening like last year.
I hope I don't put the kibosh on the weather
