Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well clearly they think QB is a big need. Richardson can't do it all on his own.

I have no idea why they are giving up on Colt McCoy who has done well all things considered when you factor in how ****ing awful they are.

To go up four spots in second round, Jets gave up their second, fifth and seventh-round picks...waaaay tooo much

Stephen Hill for a price. Hate it. :(

Question is whether Hill will have less catches in the nfl then college

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

Delighted. Hill is the single most over rated player in this draft.

His bio reminds me of Price for the Pats...that didnt work out well for us :D

I'm a McCoy fan too, but the Browns organisation clearly is not. And they're the guys who do this stuff as a profession so I give them the benefit of the doubt.

    4 picks till the Patriots...

Years of watching perennially bad NFL franchises self doom themselves means I'm way past 'benefit of the doubt' for moves like these! ;)

I know im a bit late but UPSHAW GET THE F*CK IN

That is a good point about Hill, he played in a Triple option offense so could impact Tebow sets.

McCoy is solid, but that's it. He'll never get a team to the superbowl and that is ultimately what a team wants.

    Rams add moar picks.

    Bears trading up for Konz?

Blocking WR, perfect for the option and Tebow...other than that it was a lot to give up for a WR who is a blocker first, WR second...surely you could have got a similar player in the later rounds.

Devon Still looks like he's about to cry.

    2 picks till the Patriots...

Boom - Konz could be in play for the Chargers. Failing that Curry or Trumaine Johnson hopefully

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,249 ✭✭✭Stev_o

Again that's a fairly predictable pick, suits the Bears they lacked size.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,929 ✭✭✭JaMarcus Hustle

Jeffery and Marshall, damn that's good work. Jay Cutler will be a happy boy.

So Bears have Marshall and Jeffery now to go with Cutler and Forte. Surely have to go offensive line soon. Konz is going to be great value for whoever drafts him.

Good solid pick. Plays fast which suits the Eagles model.

Keep falling to 57, please God! Him or Konz are decent money to be still available there surely? Then get an extra pick in the third around the 70 range to get LaMichael James, followed by Osweiler at 87 and i shall be a contented tent dweller!

Good pick for the Eagles, their defense next year will be scary.

    Outstanding pick Philly. Great player.

    Seahawks to go for Konz?

I wonder do the last couple of guys drafted that are invited to NY leave with a chip on their shoulder!

Devon Still definitely had a "I'll show you fools" head on him there!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,399 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Eagles have been addressing their weaknesses from last season via the draft and free agency thus far. Interior defense. I'm getting the feeling that the 'dream team' backlash will see them overpriced in a few different markets come the start of the season...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

    Reyes to the Pats?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,249 ✭✭✭Stev_o

    Hawks gotta go Still.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,768 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

    Outstanding pick Philly. Great player.

I'd forgotten they picked up DeMeco Ryans too. Add in Fletcher Cox and now Kendricks.. nice.

with a chip on his shoulder too. the last two days have shown just exactly why BB is a genius

EDIT: Tavon Wilson is surprising but pats had nothing at S

    Wow the Still slip continues!

I'll be honest and say I haven't a notion who that is.

    Tavon Wilson...who?

But then again Vollmer was a 2nd round who?

You've watched the draft before, right? New York doesn't require much of an excuse to boo someone. Winning 3 rings with the Evil Empire is more than enough to set the cages rattling.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

That's me done for the night. Can't even keep my eyes open now.

Hopefully I wake up to Konz dropping all the way down to Baltimore but I doubt it.

    All the best lads!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,768 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Troy Brown just picked a name out of a hat there, right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,500 ✭✭✭ReacherCreature

This guy isn't even on Mayock's top 100 and he's picked at 48. They had barely anything to say about him.

    Eh...who?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,317 ✭✭✭HigginsJ

wat an odd pick from the Pats #ruinagooddraft

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

Pats had nothing at Safety. Need over best player available, not slamming this pick.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,399 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Have no idea what the Pats did there. Not complaining!
