    Hi,

I am looking for somewhere to buy some free weights for dumbbells. I have looked online, like argus ect but there is a poor selection and i can never seem to find anything heavier than 20kg per pair.

It would be handy to know a place where i can buy weights for dumbbells separately, like 5kg 10, 20, 22, 24 ect. If anyone knows where i can get my hands on these, somewhere that also might deliver or near waterford, but either way any info is great!

    Thanks

Argos also sell individual plates in a variety of weights.

Powerhouse Fitness are an English company which deliver to Ireland by courier for about €30. I recently bought a bench, power rack, barbell and weights off them, and it worked out about half the price I would have paid for the same equipment on Ireland, even including delivery.

They usually dispatch within 24 hours- my father bought stuff late on a Sunday night and received it in Galway the following Wednesday.

Definitely IrishLifting. Forget about Argos, Elverys and those type places. From my experience, IrishLifting is the only place for quality and value for money

cheapest way to get a 40kg set I have seen is recently is get a 20kg set from amazon, which have free delivery. and the 4x5kg set in argos. The 5kg argos plates are a nice size

Why would you need separate bars? Buy a 20kg dumbbell set and whatever extra plates you need.
