Archos 70 - A Few Problems

I've got an Archos 70 Internet Tablet, but I've been having a few issues.

When i try to download an app, it tells me that there is no phone registered to my account.

Also, the wireless signal seems to drop off a lot unless I'm right beside the router.

Anyone else have these problems?

The Archos 70 does not have access to the Android Market when you first get it.

There's an app(arctool) you can download that will give you access to the Market

This seems to happen every so often for me. There were some wireless problems but I think that they were sorted out by updates(changes -http://update.archos.com/8/gen8/changes_firmware_archos_android_gen8.htm)
