Incoming Call Volume Level on UPC Phone

    Hi all

Has anyone had issues with the call volume level on UPC Phone ? When people call me, I find it very hard to hear people - particularly noticable from the UK. My brother called me on Christmas Day and with backround noise in my house, I just could not hear him. So I called him back immediately and had no problem then whatsoever (although I use Rynga - a Betamax VoIP company).

However, when we were saying how much better the call from me to him was, he then said that my parents had the same problem which started when the changed over to UPC from Eircom but had put it down to the Cordless Handsets.

I have the Siemens Gigasets but also some Philips cordless phones too so the problem is with both so it's deffo a UPC volume level issue.

Any thoughts or similar experiences ?

    C
