iomega screenplay recording

    Got one similar to this a few months back http://www.pixmania.ie/ie/uk/7748323/art/iomega/screenplay-director-tuner.html and i know i can record rte\tv3 via arial plugged in the back but can I in theory record off a UPC digi box if i pkug hdmi from media player to upc box and run a scart to the tv?

    Iknow the simple answer is try it but im just thinking of ideas to get this content off the upc digi box hard drive, anyone tried this?

    So this didn't work, doesn't pick up my UPC box, is this even possible to record
    Of a digi box for UPC or even sky?
