I really like him how do I show it

    I almost never stop thinking about him, its hard not to. Since I started having feeling for him I have tried to distance myself because stuff never work out, but now am sick of it. How can I get to know him better?, thing is we are in different groups and his friends dislike me very highly. ( welk just his besr friend) and we only have one class together everyday. In those classes he always makes me laugh and I love just sitting in that class with him. So basicly how can I find out what type of girl he likes without asking? And how can I get to know him better?

    Plus am black on top of that and I figure liking a black girl might be odd because I see my race an acquired taste.. Or do others see it differently

    Don't worry about skin colour when ye have such a good time, if he cared about it he wouldn't be making you laugh etc. Maybe the friend is racist or protective of him or jealous of ye and thinking he'll be all alone or something stupid like that but forget about him! Not the guy you're trying to impress =) keep it casual to test the water, if there's a movie coming out you're both into say you're looking forward to it to see his response, or a gig or ask for a game of pool or something simple. If ye have a laugh he'll probably be agreeable even if it's just platonic. If you're not sure take small but ambiguous steps for a while and gauge his reaction, but don't worry yourself about his mate. If he's interested he won't care about the friend's opinion all that much at the end of the day!
