WOODEN MODEL SHIPS (MARKS MODELS)

Recently bought a wooden model lifeboat in Mark's Models. Have got to the "panelling" stage , but can't figure out how to get the panels to take the shape of the hull of the boat and stick. Can anybody Help???

It looks like a lapstrake clinker built boat.
