I never tire of Norton, I always find him funny.

I know what you mean, but it's far better than a 30 minute job/serious style interview LLS presenters give. It's like something from another era.

Not to defend Tubridy as I also think he's a bag of sh1te but that doesn't suddenly make Ross and Norton any good. They're also from another era which is that of Kenneth Williams in the Carry-On films. While Tubridy is amateurish, those two are just vulgar.

His mother was a teacher and then a TD. He can't have been that poor.

I used to like those DVDs that he released at Christmas.. Not that they were brilliant or anything but I certainly got a few laughs out of each of them.. He seemed to use up ALL the good jokes from those DVDs in the first few episodes of the first series, so I dont know how it's sustaining the audiences..

    +1

I find Mrs Brown hilarious, it s so bad its funny. THe other 'actors' remind me of a school play ... There s a hilarious one where one of the sons comes into scene too early and later gets a name wrong and Mrs Browne corrects them caustically.. Very funny

She was a widow with 11 children, it can't have been easy, fair play to her I say!

His mother was a teacher and then a TD. He can't have been that poor.

His Dad was a builder who built most of the council houses in North Co Dub in the 50s. Not as poor and downtrodded as he makes out.

There's a bit of Nick Drake in there was well.
