Good Advice

Hi there I'm having problems with both my computer and my laptop. Firstly my computer is gone so slow, when I turn it on it shuts down after a minute so I have to turn it on again a few times before it stays on. I know its my own fault downloading music etc. But I can hardly even use the internet on it because its jamming. I'm having the same problem with my laptop I installed avg on both of them and there's not much improvement! Will I have to bring this to be repaired somewhere? If I do I'm just going to be devastated as I'm sure ill lose my itunes library but I need at least my comp or laptop as I have to study my exams are in 2weeks any help would be appreciated

Download SuperAntiSpyware Portable from http://www.superantispyware.com/

Download and run CCleaner (CCleaner.com) to delete lots of temp files.

Download Hijackthis

Scan and save a log file and post it here, I will take a look at it.

Boot the Computer in Safe mode (http://www.computerhope.com/issues/chsafe.htm) and run a scan using SuperAntiSpyware.

Go to Control Panel -> Add / Remove Programs or program list and uninstall any Antivirus software including AVG.

Download Avast from www.avast.com and install, update and scan the pc / laptop.

Scan again with Hijack This and post the results.
