My Ravens were bailed out big time by the 49ers last week so hoping for a comfortable win this weekend which we should get.

Some great games live on TV this week which is great.

I like Denver and the 49ers on the points spread which gives a double of 3.6/1, could well pay for the turkey :D

Happy Christmas to you all too, enjoy it!

Obviously first priority is Baltimore winning, but hopefully the NFC playoffs can become more competitive with Philly, NYJ, SD, NO SEA and ARI all winning.

A huge weekend for the Dallas Cowboys.

If the Jets do the business on Saturday, it will be all there for the Cowboys to do!

Getting owned at Lameblow. Best Christmas ever.

Four weeks ago I was pumped for the Christmas Night game, now I don't even want to put myself through the horror of the 3 & outs.

You'll be lucky to get away with 3 and outs.

might tune in for a bit - more inclined to watch Boise state Arizona game though...

after all - it is the Colts

Everybody on NFL Network gone with the Texans :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,323 ✭✭✭padraig_f

Think it could be a letdown game for the Colts, big incentive not to have a winless season, not so sure there'll be such a big incentive to get to 2 wins.

I wasn't brave enough to take the Texans at -7 though with their injury problems, so bet the under 40.

There's a big incentive not to get sweeped by the division and not to lose to the Texans at home for the first time ever!!

Ah need to protect the football better. Mike Mayock (sp?) is the man.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

    Our O-Line is sh1t!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,696 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

And all the good work of Mathis and Freeney is wasted by going three and out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

    Uh what a waste!!!

    what happened?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Manning, Manning, Manning, Manning, Manning, Manning, Manning, Manning, Manning, Manning..........

You'd be forgiven for thinking that there wasn't even a game tonight with the amount of talking about him that the commentators are doing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,323 ✭✭✭padraig_f

Colts have 24 plays and 38 total yards, I know I'm excited.

Is David Tuckman coming across as a very unlikeable, arrogant pundit or is it just me?

It's better than being as bland as Gary Lineker mixed with a cricket commentator, which is about what 'The Tuck' usually is.

Silly use of the timeout there, surely they should have spiked it?

I can presume he was on about roughing the passer call! It was helmet to helmet...harsh..but the right call by the rules!

Should have spiked it...shouldn't have ran it twice in a two minute drive....especially when one of them wasted around 10 seconds for no gain!

    And shoulda got that kick!

    Overall.....terrible two-minute drill!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,323 ✭✭✭padraig_f

    Orlovsky looking ok.

Think it's pretty cool that Manning is down there on the sideline, looked gutted when the field goal missed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

He's been around the sideline for the last 5 games or so!

    Wayne was pissed about that!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,599 ✭✭✭matthew8

That holding penalty hurt them badly.

Refs have to let the players play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,591 ✭✭✭skeleton_boy

Orlovsky has been brilliant on this drive avoiding the pressure. One sack and the game is probably over. Great finish!

What a nice touch by Wayne giving the ball to Orlovsky!

Wow....don't know what to say! Some of ye might think I'm overreacting here considering we're actually 2-13....but I'm shaking here!

Just great to see the team going out there and putting so much effort into getting the win! Really show's they want to win...people can say what they want about the Suck For Luck campaign but if anything we've prob fcuked that up now by going out and winning the last two games and showing winning matters to these guys!

Delighted that Reggie caught the game winner...very tough year for him considering he's a free agent after the season! Really hope something can be worked out and he comes back to us! He was showing huge passion by getting pissed with the FG miss and when we were being too conservative!

Nice to see Orvolsky getting some wins...really happy they went with him over Painter!

I know really it means **** all to anyone else just great to see for me!

I'd be more worried than anything, that #1 pick is the course of the next 15 years for the franchise and if it ends up in the Vikings' or the Rams' hands then everyone in Indy will rue the week Dan Orlovsky started winning. It's all and well having 'pride', but that pride could end up coming at a heavy cost - everyone has seen what not having a franchise QB to build around can do to the set up in Indy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

I eluded to that in my post!

All boils down to next week really so not much point worrying about it now!
