I am when I am talking about art. I am clear, relevant, concise, considered, critical, intelligent, witty and seem to have a wide vocabulary.

Of course talking about anything else I just seem socially retarded.

I'm usually articulate enough when it involves something written, I have a little more time to think about it then, I wouldn't be half as articulate in conversation. The words don't come as easy then. Pisses me off no end.

    1. What does it mean to be articulate

    2. and who normally is?

    1. Having a good command of a language, particularly in terms of being well-spoken, having a good vocabulary and getting your point across succinctly.

    2. I am.

To get a point across clearly and using relevant wording concisely.(Or very eloquently.) I think David Attenbourgh is beautifully articulate,I could listen to or read his books for endless happy hours.

I simply didn't think your post could be improved upon, so I simply reiterated your point.

I see it as flattery. :)

To be articulate means you do be talkin good an stuff

It means that you can clearly express your thoughts to others, which in turn requires that your thoughts are in order. Someone who thinks and speaks clearly, I'd say. Stephen Fry is an OK example, but not as good as Richard Feynman was:

From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch’.

    — Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 Astronaut

Maybe, but Stephen Fry looks less mental than your guy does in the opening frame. :p

I always found that punching someone in the mouth really hard impairs their articulacy.

I just wanted to share that.
